Wedding Cake Budget Tips

  • Choose a slightly smaller tiered cake such as a small 3 tier or a 2 tier and have sheet cakes to serve the remainder of the guests. Our sheets cakes are made to look exactly like the tiered cake when cut. Your guests will never know the difference.
  • Cupcakes can be a cheaper and fun option. You can do a variety of flavors, and decoration options are endless. Plus it’s easier to dance and eat a cupcake than a slice of cake!
  • Dummy tiers are Styrofoam layers incorporated into a tiered cake. The dummy tiers are an option for a much larger and grander looking cake without having to pay as much. There is still a fee for the icing and decorating of the dummy tier but significantly less than an actual cake.
Doing separate un-stacked cakes arranged on different plates and stands is a real money saver.
  • Don’t need traditional cake for the wedding? Try doing dessert platters/bar. We can do a variety of different options such as cookies, brownies, cake balls, parfaits and much more.
